Getty ImagesThe People's Choice Awards air tonight, and while we can't wait to see some new faces hit the red carpet, we're always excited to see a few familiar ones, too!
In fact, the PCAs ten years ago saw a handful of the same names who are nominated tonight. From Sandra Bullock to Johnny Depp to Kelly Clarkson, several of the nominees we voted for in 2006 are yet again in the running for trophies tonight.
With that being said, let's take a look back at the 2006 People's Choice Awards and see just how far (or not so far) we've come:
Sandra Bullock: In 2006, the brunette beauty went home a winner for Favorite Motion Picture Actress (for both Crash and Miss Congeniality 2). This year, she has been nominated again for the same category! But we probably won't see her rocking anything like this on the red carpet this year.
Kelly Clarkson: The American Idol alum was a fan favorite in 2006, taking home the trophy for Favorite Female Musician. In 2016, she is nominated for Favorite Pop Artist.
Johnny Depp: The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor won for Favorite Motion Picture Actor, videoing into the show to thank his fans. This year he has the chance to do it again, and hopefully he can actually make it...but will he wear a hat?!
Ellen DeGeneres: The daytime host was and still is one of our favorite, all-white wearing funny ladies in the industry. In 2006, she won in the category of Favorite Funny Female.
Reese Witherspoon: America's Sweetheart, Witherspoon had all of us wrapped around her finger and took home the trophy for Favorite Actress in 2006 after her roles in Walk the Line and Just Like Heaven. She looked perfect in this maroon mini.
Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey: These two won for Favorite Male and Female Action Stars in 2006. Remember Garner's kickass role in Alias and Elektra, and McConaughey's character in Sahara? (Garner had to video in to accept her award).
Eva Mendes: Ryan Gosling's baby mama was also in attendance at the 2006 PCAs, rocking a two-piece skirt and lace shirt ensemble with a pop of red on her shoes.
Neil Patrick Harris: NPH was one of our favorite and funniest attendees at the People's Choice Awards ten years ago...not much has changed, has it?!
Jessica Simpson: The blonde bombshell not only one for her cover of "These Boots Were Made for Walking" from the Dukes of Hazzard in 2006, but she also got a chance to do a sizzling performance of it for the audience!
