Michelle Rodriguez

Well, Michelle Rodriguez didn't keep her promise, but we're cool with that.

The actress, who recently flashed some serious armpit hair in a holiday selfie on Instagram, captioned the photo with, "Merry Winter Solstice !!! It's a great time to remember that life can be as simple as letting go and remembering were all rentals in this world, love that anoying family member, kiss that bratty cousin, & hug the love your life real tight."

And she added, "I promise to shave my arm pits at some point before the New Year mad love and peace to all."

Rodriguez's vacation photos prove that she opted to leave the razor in the drawer, and continued to rock a bountiful underarm while enjoying her getaway.

The actress was snapped having some fun in the water in Cancun, Mexico while vacationing with a friend over the holiday, and along with her French-inspired habits, flaunted her toned and trim bikini bod. While splashing around, Rodriguez flashed a huge smile and her enviable figure in a tiny, white bikini top and black shorts.

The 37-year-old is taking some time off from filming her upcoming project Tomboy, a Revenger's Tale.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Michelle stars as a hitman-turned-hitwoman in the upcoming gender-reassignment thriller. Her character is "double crossed-by gangsters and falls into the hands of a rogue surgeon," reportedly played by Sigourney Weaver, who surgically changes the male criminal to a female while performing what is supposed to be an unrelated medical procedure.

From there, the film reportedly focuses on Michelle's character's quest for revenge. The Walter Hill-directed film is based on a story by Denis Hamill and is expected to hit theaters in 2017.
