Prince William, father of 2-year-old Prince George and 8-month-old baby Princess Charlotte, says he has changed since he became a dad.
The 33-year-old, husband of Kate Middleton and the second person in line to the British throne, talks about fatherhood in the ITV documentary When Ant and Dec Met the Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust, which airs on Monday.
"I'm a lot more, um, I'm a lot more emotional that I used to be," William says. "Yeah, weirdly."
"I never used to really kind of sort of get too wound up or worried about things," he adds. "But now, the smallest little things, I can feel, you well up a little bit more and you get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father, just because you realize how precious life is and it puts it all in perspective, the idea of not being around to see your children grow up."
Unlike a lot of male royals that came before him, William is a hands-on dad and was even the first person to change George's diaper.
His father, Prince Charles, is the main subject of the ITV documentary. He also talks about George and Charlotte in the program.
