How do you top perfection? Well, by definition, you can't, but you can try to match it.

At her New Year's Eve concert in Las Vegas, resident performer and world-renowned diva Celine Dion covered the song of the season—fellow Grammy winner Adele's haunting ballad, "Hello," which is featured on her new album, 25.

"Tonight, if I may, I would like Adele to be part of our New Year's Eve," Dion, 47, told her cheering audience. "So don't panic, she's not in the building."

Dion had performed Adele's 2011 breakout hit "Rolling in the Deep," from her 21 album, at her Las Vegas shows in 2013.

Dion told Larry King that year that Adele, 27, is one of the artists she would like to collaborate with, saying she's a "big fan."
