The 32-year-old country singer posted on her Instagram page on Friday, New Year's Day, a photo of her cuddling up to new boyfriend and fellow country singer Anderson East, 27, marking the first public photo of the two. She shared it five months after she and Blake Shelton, 39, divorced after four years of marriage.
A source had told E! News earlier this week Lambert and East were dating, saying, "It's still all pretty new and she is just enjoying getting to know him." The two have not confirmed a relationship.
In the picture, Lambert and East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, sit together in a chair with their arms wrapped around each other and a cozy plaid blanket covering them both.
"The snuggle is real," Lambert wrote.
The source had told E! News the two "have many things in common" and that Lambert thinks he East is "a total stud."
Shelton has been dating his The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani, a mother of three who is in the midst of divorce proceedings with Gavin Rossdale, for at least a month and a half. Over the past holiday season, the two were spotted in his home state of Oklahoma, at an Arizona Cardinals game in Phoenix, on a wine-tasting tour in Santa Barbara and in her hometown of Anaheim, California, with her family.
