The Hottest Former Bachelors We Lost to Engagements or Marriage in 2015

We'll always have shirtless pics

In 2015 we leave behind several smoking hot bachelors who are now off-the-market men.

Engagements and marriage claimed our favorite eye candy.

Yes, we're happy about Ryan Phillippe's recent proposal to Paulina Slagter. We'll always have shirtless beach pics in our memories and browser histories, Ryan!

But a little piece of us mourns every time another sexy stud leaves the single life behind.

In April, Ian Somerhalder married Nikki Reed, and their wedding was beautiful and perfect, just like they are.

They had only confirmed their engagement a few months before.

That did not leave us much time to emotionally prepare ourselves, Ian.

Now we only have that smoldering stare on the red carpet and slow motion GIFs from The Vampire Diaries to keep us warm at night.

Not only did Joe Manganiello tie the knot with Sofia Vergara this year, he did it after the release of Magic Mike XXL earlier this summer.

We'd say that was a real tease, but instead we're choosing to look at it as a final celebration of his bachelor hotness.

Besides, we can still appreciate the abs even when there's a ring on that finger, right?

Robert Pattinson's whirlwind engagement to FKA twigs came as a true surprise to fans, as it was his first public relationship since his Kristen Stewart split in 2013.

Though they have yet to set a date, we can officially count the Twilight alum as a taken man.

Oh well, Edward Cullen fan fic it is.

Mother Monster Lady Gaga is planning her nuptials with fiancé Taylor Kinney which is so great (and so jealousy-inducing.)

The Chicago Fire star is a hottie who will continue to heat up our TV screens, but alas, we've lost another one, single people of the world.

May we please take a moment to say goodbye to this sexy, formerly single stud with a look at these nearly naked modeling pics from 2011?

Thank you, Taylor Kinney.

Another former bachelor (with an amazing set of abs) who has taken the plunge?

Usher.

The singer secretly married fiancée Grace Miguel earlier this year, and in that moment, we finally accepted that the song "My Boo" will never be about us. It was a difficult moment, but, we're resilient.

And The Voice star isn't the only musician to put a ring on it this year.

Ludacris kicked off the year with news of his nuptials, and he didn't waste any time.

The rapper and wife Eudoxie got engaged and married on the same day.

"Why wait?" The Furious 7 star said in his celebratory Instagram pic.

How about for us, Luda? Damn.

Ashton Kutcher was a Hollywood hunk who managed to secretly say "I do" this year.

The actor made things official with Mila Kunis over the Fourth of July weekend.

The adorable couple are also parents to a daughter named Wyatt.

We've been crushing on Kutcher since his Kelso days, and since he tied the knot with Jackie, it looks like we weren't the only ones who took notice of those dimples on That 70s Show.

Kutcher isn't the only off-the-market hottie who wooed us during his early TV days.

One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray wed Sarah Roemer in 2015 and, with that, closed a door on our longtime dream that Lucas Scott would walk into our lives one day.

Let's move Mr. Murray from the column of Hot Celeb Bachelors to Hot Celeb Family Men. It was a good run while it lasted, Chad.

This was a year when we lost some hunky athletes to the power of love.

This fall, retired New York Yankees star Derek Jeter got engaged to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model Hannah Davis.

Another athlete with wedding bells in his future?

Insanely hot Olympic diver Tom Daley announced his engagement to Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black this fall as well.

Lest we forget, E! News exclusively revealed Dave Franco's engagement to Alison Brie this summer.

The couple has always remained tight-lipped about their relationship, so this came as a surprise for many single fans out there.

The good news: Older brother James Franco remains single.

One of Hollywood's biggest stars said "I do" this spring.

Amber Heard made a married man out of Johnny Depp, which makes our dreams of finally taming Captain Jack Sparrow seem impossible now.

Sure, it's adorable watching Depp gush on the red carpet about why he loves his lady, but can't you hear so many single hearts breaking, Johnny?

Same goes for you, Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Internet (and Sherlock fandom) collectively lost their minds over the star's engagement news, subsequent Cumberbaby news, and the same goes for the confirmation this year that the actor is now a married man.

If Benedict Cumberbatch is spoken for, can we at least crush on this sizzling black-and-white pic of him in a lake?

Instead of going on an on, because apparently everyone we're attracted to is now married or engaged, we'll end things with just one more committed hottie.

Justin Theroux, who we're pretty sure is rarely ever photographed in a sleeved shirt, wed Jennifer Aniston in August.

The news wouldn't hurt quite so much if we hadn't seen those bulge-friendly jogging scenes on The Leftovers, but guess what? We saw them, and we're heartbroken that he's unavailable.

And may we issue a request for the single hunks of Hollywood who may take the plunge in 2016: please don't tease us with this sexy stuff, then promptly leave the bachelor life behind.

On second thought... we'll still take the bulge scenes and shirtless pics regardless, thanks.
