This is one list that no actor wants to find themselves on.

Johnny Depp, however, has somehow managed to land on Forbes' most overpaid actors list not one year, but two years in a row.

The magazine released their annual picks earlier today and honored (um, if you can call it that) the Pirates of the Caribbean star for his box office blusters.

Sure, the Disney franchise may have grossed a combined $3.7 billion dollars total, but Amber Heard's husband's other films have failed to live up to any success close to the Pirates films.

According to the magazine, the 52-year-old actor's movies returned $1.20 for every $1 he was paid to star in them.

And he's not the only actor in Hollywood who has a similar return on star power investment…

Denzel Washington returns $6.50 for every buck he receives.

Now now, we know what you're thinking, $6.50 is a whole heck of a lot different than $1.20—but let's not shed a tear for Mr. Depp!

After all, the Hollywood A-lister has three films in the pipeline for 2016 and will star in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales for 2017.

Depp didn't find himself on the top of last year's list, either. In fact, Adam Sandler won the title for 2015 and was joined by Ben Stiller and Ryan Reynolds.

Better luck next year, guys!
