On Wednesday, Marie Claire magazine announced the recipients of its inaugural Image Maker Awards. The celebration will pay tribute to the industry's biggest influencers and the impact they've made not only on their celeb clientele but to the world of style as a whole.
Winners include hairstylist Adir Abergel, colorist Tracey Cunningham, stylist Micaela Erlanger and makeup artists Jillian Dempsey, Sir John and Jenn Streicher. The event will also include a star-studded array of presenters, including Jennifer Garner, Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o.
In partnership with Marie Claire, E! Style Collective went one on one with Image Maker Adir Abergel, hairstylist and visionary behind memorable looks like Sandra's silky tresses at the Oscars and Gwyneth's elegant ponytail at the 2012 Academy Awards.
In the video, Adir shares what it is really like to work with such a high caliber of celebrity and recounts his favorite career highlights (hint: It involves Jessica Biel, missing hair tools and a bottle of salt water). Hey, you know you're really talented when you can make a masterpiece out of nothing.
