Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, son Prince George, and Prince Harry were spotted traveling together in a chauffeur-driven car.
What royal event was on the agenda for the day? The Royal Family's annual Buckingham Palace early Christmas gathering, hosted by none other than Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth.
The trio was photographed arriving outside the palace, where members of the press typically gather for glimpses of the famous faces attending royal events.
From the pictures, Little George was secured in a car seat in the back row of the vehicle next to his mother, dressed in a cozy sweater and collared undershirt with enviable golden curls atop his head.
The fashionable Middleton, although hidden in the photo, was sporting a festive cherry coat perfect for the holiday occasion.
Uncle Harry looked equally as dapper, according to the shots, sporting a sleek navy suit jacket with a baby blue polka-dotted tie. Boy, does he clean up nicely!
The trio joined Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on a rainy Wednesday for the festive luncheon at the famed London landmark before the Queen and Duke depart for a holiday vacation in Sandringham, where they typically spend Christmas.
The event soon became a crowded royal affair. The immediate royal family was joined by the Queen's grandson's wife, Autumn Phillips, followed by a handful of other well-known relatives, including Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward, Lady Helen Taylor, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince Edward, all of whom also joined in the pre-holiday fun.
One non-royal, former England rugby player Mike Tindall, also graciously accepted the Queen's invitation and arrived at the palace alongside his royal wife Zara Phillips, who is one of the Queen's granddaughters.
While Christmas is still a week away, Prince William is already preparing for the Christmas Eve jitters he expects from his 2-year-old son, who has been a handy Christmas helper this year. The toddler has gotten fully into the holiday spirit, even helping decorate the royal family's nine foot tree at their country home in Norfolk, England.
"George will be bouncing around like a rabbit," Prince William revealed to the U.K.'s The Big Issue. "If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve, it'll be good."
