The Republican presidential hopeful hopped on Twitter Tuesday morning to rip apart the Fox News anchor for misstating his polling lead, calling her the "most overrated anchor" and listing her team as a bunch of "flunkies."
Trump's anger stems from a segment in Monday night's show about the Monmouth University poll, which revealed Trump had 41% support, leading his closest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, by 27 points. However, Kelly read aloud that he was only leading by 15 points.

Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 15, 2015The feud between Trump and Kelly was originally ignited at the first round of GOP debates for the 2016 election when the Fox News host asked the outspoken candidate about is insulting comments regarding women in the past. Trump responded by saying Kelly had "blood coming out of her wherever"—a comment for which Trump refuses to apologize and swears was misinterpreted.
In regards to the comments, Kelly previously stated, "Mr. Trump is an interesting man who has captured the attention of the electorate. That's why he's leading in the polls. Trump, who is now the frontrunner, will not apologize. And I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism," the anchor continued. "So, I'll continue doing my job—without fear or favor. And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far."
As expected, the two have yet to move past their differences and have continued to sound off in several Twitter debates.
Kelly has not responded to Trump's most recent comments, but a spokesperson for Fox tells The Hill that there was an error in the script Monday night and that it would be corrected during Tuesday evening's program.
