To quote MTV's Diary, "You think you know, but you have no idea." That's the gist of American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson's trailer. In the new trailer for the FX drama series from Ryan Murphy, viewers get a first look at big stars playing iconic real-life people involved with the O.J. Simpson murder case. It looks pretty freakin' dramatic and entertaining. There's Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Sarah Paulson in various wigs as Marcia Clark, John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson and Connie Britton as Faye Resnick.

The series, which is the first in a new anthology for FX, is based on Jeffrey Toobin's book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson and promises viewers who followed the news coverage of the arrest and trials "don't know the half of it."

Peep the trailer above. Marvel at all your favorites playing real-life people from the 1990s.

The cast also includes Courtney B. Vance as Jonnie Cochran, Nathan Lane, Jordana Brewster, Cheryl Ladd, Steven Pasquale, Billy Magnussen, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Evan Handler, among others. Along with Murphy, executive producers include Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, Brad Falchuk, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.
