In fact, the 40-year-old isn't even dating the woman multiple media outlets erroneously pegged as his bride-to-be. So what happened?
Well, Seacrest and a group of friends were photographed at London's Heathrow Airport over the weekend. Sarah Mutch, a model dating real estate magnate Kurt Rappaport, was spotted with a giant ring on that finger—cue the confusion!
Seacrest got a laugh out of the media mix-up, but he decided to set the record straight on Twitter. "not engaged," he wrote, "but man did I get a lot of credit for my buddy's fiancée..."
Ha, we're sure the bride-to-be and her fiancé saw the humor in it, too. Seacrest, his recently engaged pals and a few other friends definitely made some memories on their London trip. Mutch Instagrammed one photo of the gang at the Rosewood Hotel, noting via hashtags she was oh so #thankful for her #besties.
Seacrest sure looked happy in the #Friendsgiving snap. He lucked out this year, actually, and celebrated another Turkey Day (early, that is) with the boys of One Direction.
