As the 27-year-old continues to celebrate record sales of her new album 25—how does 900,000 copies on iTunes in one day sound?—the "Hello" singer made time to sit down with 60 Minutes Australia to discuss her personal life.
What she had to say about her boyfriend Simon Konecki was nothing short of romantic and sweet.
"Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that's so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now," Adele shared. "That's what made me write about everything I've ever done, because I've got his love."
When asked if her relationship with Konecki is the "ultimate love story," she replied "I guess it is, I guess it is."
In addition to a longtime romance, the couple also shares a three-year-old son who they try to keep out of the Hollywood spotlight.
If you're wondering what Konecki thinks of his leading ladies powerful lyrics, Adele argues that he "doesn't care" in the best possible way. And while some may find it hard to understand, Adele believes it's just one of the many reasons their relationship works.
"He cares about me more than anything," she explained to Liz Hayes. "But he doesn't care about the style of music that I make and stuff like that and he just loved it."
She continued, "I know that sounds a bit like I'm trying to write a Hollywood movie, but it's only because of him and because of our kid and stuff that I'm all right."
