Believe it or not, The X-Files is coming back to TV. (See what we did there?)
To celebrate the return of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson's beloved Mulder and Scully, Fox has gone all out with the creepy posters, including the one above which invokes the classic poster from Mulder's office (one he rips in half in the premiere episode!).
Duchovny and Anderson are definitely not alone (sorry, can't stop with the puns) in their return to The X-Files. Along for the ride are familiar faces William B. Davis as the Cigarette Smoking Man (yes, he died at the end of the series) and Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner. New pals for Mulder and Scully include Joel McHale, Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose as new FBI agents, The Americans' Annet Mahendru, Flight of the Conchords' Rhys Darby and Silicon Valley star Kumail Najiani. Annabeth Gish is also set to return as Agent Reyes, a character who joined the show after Duchovny departed, and the Lone Gunmen (Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood and Dean Haglund). Yes, the Lone Gunmen also "died." Hey, it's The X-Files.
