Rejoice! Drake's OVO Line Unveils Its First Women's Collection Just in Time for Holiday Shopping

Just in time to make those holiday wish lists? You bet!

Step aside, Kanye! There's another big-name rapper-turned-designer in the midst.

And that fellow would be—who else?—Drake. The 29-year-old's flourishing OVO brand is just days away from launching its first-ever women's line, and yes, the timing is meticulous as its mere weeks away from the most wonderful time of the year. Meaning that if you've a few of Drizzy's lady fans on your holiday shopping list this year, you're in luck, because your job is (essentially) done.

The capsule collection—not unlike Kanye's—is filled with loungewear made for those street style candids (translation: endless Instagram photo ops). Employing an entirely black and gold palette—save one shirt—the collection's got all the leggings, tops, hoodies and shirt-dresses you could dream of, plus that sleek owl logo. Heck, there's even winter-perfect fur-lined black satin puffer jacket in the mix.

Drake's been hard at work growing his OVO brand—which stands for October's Very Own, FYI—and just this September launching his own pair of Jordans. The brand's long since had a menswear line as well. Also note, the once small-scale blog has budded into an all-encompassing brand for the rapper, including his OVOSound record label and the annual OVOFest.

And if you're reading this, it's not too late to snag these Drake-designed womenswear gems—the line goes on sale at the brand's Toronto store this Saturday, Nov. 21, and hits the e-shelves online Nov. 28.
