Gwen Stefani wishes she and Gavin Rossdale never split but is focusing on the positive.

The 46-year-old singer and The Voice coach filed for divorce from the 50-year-old Bush singer, with whom she shares three sons, in August after 13 years of marriage. Last week, a report said he cheating on her with the family's former nanny, Mindy Mann. None of the three have commented on the allegations.

"There's so many bad things," Stefani said in an interview on The Tommy Show on 94.7 Fresh FM in Washington D.C on Wednesday, when asked about divorce. "Oh my God. Like, I can't even believe it, like, I can't even believe it. But at the same time there are lots of good things and I do get to have a second chance, and I feel really, like, I have a lot of joy right now, I really do."

"I wish it didn't happen," Stefani added. "I wish that all of this wasn't happening but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey. In my life I've had two really bad heartbreaks and I've written some incredible music out of it and I feel so lucky to have that and to be able to share it and I feel like it's part of what I...contribute to the world and I feel really proud of that. There's always good things that come out of bad things."

Stefani has since moved on and is currently dating her The Voice co-star Blake Shelton, 39, and the two recently flaunted some PDA on the show. He divorced fellow country star Miranda Lambert, 32, in July after four years of marriage.

Stefani has also channeled her heartache into music—again. Stefani's band No Doubt's 1996 hit "Don't Speak" was famously inspired by her breakup with bassist Tony Kanal. Two months after filing from divorce from Rossdale, she released the emotional ballad "I Used to Love You."

Stefani revealed on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest earlier this month that she was inspired to write and record new music after "life blew up in [her] face" the day after the 2015 Grammy Awards. That day, "Gwen's suspicions" about Rossdale's alleged infidelity were "confirmed," E! News had learned. Stefani, Rossdale and Mann have not commented.
