The new Ghostbusters can't come soon enough.

As we all know, the all-female reboot stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Chris Hemsworth plays their receptionist.

"He was shirtless the entire time," McCarthy joked with me while promoting the holiday collection of her Melissa McCarthy Seven7 fashion line at an L.A.-area Lane Bryant. "It's just what Chris does. He likes to go topless all the time."

Director Paul Feig confirms that Hemsworth does show off his body in the movie. "You will be seeing some man flesh," he told me at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Governors Awards.

We know Ghostbusters doesn't come out until July, but we expect Hemsworth will be back if there's a sequel.

"He's weirdly, weirdly funny like so funny that I don't know what's he's doing doing action movies," McCarthy gushed. "I remember Kristen and I just looking at each other and we're like—and I think she meant this seriously—'Did he bring writers?' because he was one of the best improvisers that I've ever worked with. I wouldn't say that. I would just say he's swell. Weirdly great improviser, super funny and there's just hours of footage of us bawling laughing because we had gone crazy. He was awesome."

Speaking of action movies, Hemsworth will next be seen In the Heart of the Sea about an American whaling ship's battle with a sperm whale in 1820 that inspired Herman Melville's classic novel Moby Dick.

In the Heart of the Sea is in theaters Dec. 11.
