Sorry Derek Hough, but there's another man in Bindi Irwin's life getting a special shoutout this Saturday.
As the Dancing With the Stars contestant continues to rehearse for another performance with her professional dancer, Irwin decided to take time out of her weekend to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday.
In an Instagram post shared early Saturday, the 17-year-old gushed about her man Chandler Powell in the sweetest way.
"Happy birthday to a person who inspires me every day," she wrote with a photo of the twosome. "A soul who makes me smile no matter where I am in the world, despite any amount of distance."
She added, "Thank you for the endless hugs, late night conversations about life, holding my hand when a loud noise scares me and laughing along with all of my Bindi moments. I'm blessed to be a part of your world."
Throughout Irwin's time on Dancing With the Stars, Powell has showed his support for the animal lover.
As we recently found out, however, it's not always from the ballroom or rehearsals. Hough joked to E! News that there is a strict no-visitors policy, especially when it's crunch time.
"It's closed off," he said during our last visit. "We have to spray you before you come in, spray you before you go out."
Irwin added, "It's like a secret agent operation. It's been really fun but you can't repeat anything you've seen in this area. This is the code of silence!"
Despite the tight security, Hough has been able to meet his Dancing partner's close friend. And yes, he totally approves.
"He's a good guy. I approve," Hough told us, before adding, "A tip of the hat!" as Irwin cheered next to him, excited to get the seal of approval from her "big brother."
Dancing With the Stars airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
