This story makes us feel all warm inside like a Thanksgiving meal.

A photo of a restaurant in Northville, MI is going viral on sites like Reddit, and it's easy to see why.

The above sign was spotted hanging in the window of George's Senate Coney Island Restaurant, not to be confused with New York's Coney Island.

It promises to feed people who may be lonely on what is typically considered a family holiday. The sign reads: "George's Thanksgiving Day Dinner. If anyone is home alone, come eat with us for free! All day. Thursday, November 26th."

What better way to include people who may not be able to share that day with friends or loved ones?

According to local news affiliate WILX-TV, the restaurant's owner, George Dimopoulos, emigrated from Greece to the United States in his early '20s.

He came from a large family who could not afford to send him to school. He left home at 12 and spent some time homeless, sometimes relying on the charity of others to eat.

Now, to give back, he has hosted this free Thanksgiving meal at his restaurant for several years.

"It makes my heart feel good to do it, and help a little bit," he told WILX-TV.

Based on the attention George's lovely deed is getting, and the number of people he's been able to feed, something tells us it's helped a lot.
