Good news for Avril Lavigne!

The 31-year-old Canadian pop-rock star appears to be on the road to recovery amid her battle with Lyme disease.

"Overcoming Lyme Disease. Feels good to have my Dr. smile and tell me how much progress I am making," the singer wrote on Instagram this week. "I'm coming out on the other side batches!!! #Fighter #F--kLymeDisease."

"FIGHT and CONQUER !!!!!!!!! #F--kLymeDisease," she added.

She posted two photos: One shows her lying on her back and being treated on a medical cot, while the other shows her lying on her side and smiling while displaying a round Band-Aid on the inside of her elbow, placed there after a blood draw.

Lavigne had announced her diagnosis in April, saying she had been bedridden for five months. Lyme disease is usually caused by tick bites, leads to symptoms such as fatigue and a rash and is typically treated with antibiotics. It can also progress to a chronic condition, which is more difficult to cure. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, 51, suffers from chronic Lyme disease.

In June, Lavigne said on Good Morning America that she was about halfway through her treatment, was "doing a lot better" and was expected to "make a 100 percent recovery."

A month later, the singer returned to the stage for the first time since announcing her diagnosis, performing at the 2015 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. In August, she appeared as a surprise celebrity guest at Taylor Swift's concert in San Diego, California. The two sang a duet of Lavigne's hit 2002 song "Complicated."

The singer's love life suffered this year as well. On Sept. 2, she and husband and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, 40, announced they would split after more than two years of marriage. They have no children.

Later in September, Lavigne posted another health update, sharing pics from a doctor's appointment, including one that showed 13 vials of blood.

"This journey continues ..... Just reach up, don't give up until you've touch the sky ..... We were all meant to fly .... #DrOfficePhotoShoot @Hurley @amusesociety," she wrote.

For her birthday, her Avril Lavigne Foundation launched a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for people struggling with Lyme Disease.

Donors will be entered to win a chance to meet the singer and have a speaking role in the animated movie Charming, which stars the pop star as Snow White. The musical film also stars Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama and is set for release in 2016.

"I want to start off by thanking all of my fans this year for your support through everything," Lavigne says in a campaign video. "My fans have been with me and I cannot be more grateful."
