The Voice was extra exciting tonight for various reasons.
Monday night's episode not only marked the first live episode of the hit competition series, but the first episode since coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani confirmed that they're really dating! Cue the excitement and giggles and fans glued to the TV for a glimpse of the new couple flaunting some PDA...
But unfortunately, there was none. These two kept it pretty professional tonight, with minimal flirting. However, they did team up against Blake's bromance partner Adam Levine for a little bit, but it was all actually very cute.
"Team Gwen is whippin' the crap out of Team Adam tonight," Shelton said during the show. "It's fun to see Gwen whip the crap out of Adam tonight. It makes me so happy."
Aw, that banter will never get old.
Before heading to the Voice playoffs, the two lovebirds spent some time together at Stefani's house in Los Angeles.
Shelton was photographed driving away from his new lady's home after spending a couple of hours at the singer's pad, according to an eyewitness. The country singer returned to the studio to work while Gwen ran a few errands before heading to the studio as well.
The pair officially took their romance public, announcing to the world that they are, in fact, dating, last week prior to the CMA Awards. And someone who kept a tight lip about everything was their co-worker and Voice co-host, Carson Daly. However, Daly didn't exactly think it was possible.
"C'mon I'm a loyal guy," he told his co-hosts, before admitting, "I didn't know. I didn't think Blake could get a girl as hot as Gwen to be honest. He's a goofy cowboy. She's the queen of cool. But God bless them. They're two of the nicest people in the business."
LOL, that seems to be the common reaction to this couple news.
