Leave it to newly single Gigi Hadid to inspire date-night makeup for romantic rendezvous of all kinds.

Perhaps the most important factor in mimicking Gigi's signature look is dewy skin—which, quite honestly, works for a daytime hike, a late-night round of drinks or anything in between. Glowing skin impresses sans any other makeup, but with just a few bold additions, like a colored liner or a bright lip, you can easily elevate supple skin to date-worthy standards.

If your go-to date night makeup tends to underwhelm, E! Style Collective contributor Suzie Kim shares her hacks for how to up the ante in a just a few simple steps with these scenario-specific beauty looks. (You can thank us later.)

Dewy Skin for a Day Hike: "This day date look is focused on natural, glowy skin that isn't trying too hard to look like makeup," noted Suzie. This low-key date face is your glowing skin base for all of the more intense looks that follow. For a hike specifically, avoid caking on your base since you will likely be sweating. To play up your natural features, prep skin with an iridescent primer that works to smooth out pores and add an all-over glisten. To finish, lightly apply a thin layer of foundation, tap cheeks with a dusting of blush and swipe on a smudge of lip tint for just-bitten lips.

All-Over Highlight for Bowling Night: If you're headed somewhere that is casual but darkly lit, you'll want to emphasize flushed cheeks and all-over highlight. Swirl on a heavier-than-usual hand of blush, not forgetting to dabble highlighter to the high points of your face. Since this look is all about playing up your angles, swipe lips with a sweet, peachy nude color that doesn't compete. Pack on your favorite bronze eye shadows, blending to create depth. Add black gel liner to the entire bottom lashline for a traced eye that doesn't overwhelm.

Contoured Cheeks and Winged Liner for Wine Tasting: This look is all about subtle, daytime drama. Matte, contoured cheekbones and flirty, winged eyeliner strike the right balance for daylight hours. To make your cheeks stand out (while you coyly sip wine), enlist natural contour colors to define your cheekbones. For a real-to-life look, Suzie finds that most bronzers are too shimmery and don't look as natural. She reccomends Nars' cult classic or even a two-shades-darker foundation that will mimic tan skin when used as bronzer.

Electric Eyeliner for Bar Trivia: Playful evenings out are a good time to experiment with electric colors, like a cobalt blue liner. To keep the focus on the eyes, wet deep brown shadows and swipe along the lid as desired. To veer toward sassy instead of harsh, restrict the bold color to the bottom lash line. "Blur the colored liner for a softer effect, and work your brown liner into the outer corners for a subtle fade," added Suzie.

Painted Pout for Cooking Class: This stained lip look is the perfect solution for any date where you're going to be eating. Not only does a painted pout last, it draws attention to your lips—all good news. To get the look, pack the opaque lipstick shade of your choice all over your lip, massaging the color in place. Next, you're going to want to blot the color off for the stained effect. Brush cheeks with a rosy blush and line eyes with a chocolate brown to draw attention back to the mouth.
