Scott Disick checked into rehab about three weeks ago to treat his struggles with drugs and alcohol, and since then he has tried to turn his life around for the sake of his family.

After spending weeks inside of the facility, a source tells E! News that Kourtney Kardashian's ex is doing much better. "Scott's doing really well. He sounds happy, clean and clearheaded," the source reveals.

"I think he took it really seriously this time. He took a real break from work and partying to focus on himself," the insider adds. "He hasn't sounded this good in ages. He says he's feeling great."

The 32-year-old father of three entered rehab on the heels of Lamar Odom's hospitalization. A source told E! News at the time of Scott's decision to enter that he wanted to focus on getting better so he could be the best dad he could possibly be to Mason Disick, Penelope Disick and Reign Disick. We were also told that he was dedicated to getting help and taking this stint very seriously, and based on the news, it looks like the reality TV star kept his promise.

Scott and Kourtney called it quits after nine years and three kids together. She "has to do what's best for the kids," a source told E! News at the time of the split.

This was Scott's fourth attempt at rehab. He previously sought help from a Costa Rican facility but checked out shortly after. His struggles were also chronicled on Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons where he was seen partying so hard that he ended up in a Connecticut facility. Once again, he checked himself out early.

"This behavior has been going on for years," Kourtney said on the show. Scott added, "I've pretty much become a broken record and I'm sick of hearing myself."

Family and friends continued to urge him to seek treatment, but it wasn't until Odom's health crisis that he decided to take it "seriously."
