Do you wanna do something fun? Wanna go to Taco Bell?
You can grab a free A.M. Crunchwrap for breakfast at participating restaurants on Thursday morning and it's all thanks to Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain.
The fast food chain had promised the free eats as part of its #stealabreakfast promotion, on the condition that a player would steal a base during the 2015 MLB World Series. During Game 1 on Oct. 27, Cain stole second base in the bottom of the 6th inning, later scoring a run for the Royals to tie the game against the New York Mets.
"In Game 1 of the World Series, Lorenzo Cain stole a base. But really, he stole breakfast for all of America," Taco Bell's website reads.
You can get your free A.M. Crunchwrap, a hexagon-shaped sandwich made up of eggs, breakfast meat, cheddar cheese and a hash brown patty that usually costs about $2.49, at Taco Bells across the United States from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., while supplies last.
The Royals ended up winning Game 1 with a score of 4-5 and won the World Series over all, four games to 1.
