Miranda Lambert took to the 2015 CMA Awards red carpet tonight with a punchy pink tint on the tips of her light blond lob. And while, yes, this would be a head-turning change for the sole reason that Miranda's never strayed far from her golden shade, there's another reason folks are flabbergasted by this choice in hair transformation: It looks awfully similar to a hairstyle Gwen Stefani (who's now officially dating Miranda's ex-husband Blake Shelton as of today) rocked back in 1999.
Eeek—now that's some bad timing.
This (literally) shady incident isn't the only potentially tricky situation tonight, as both Miranda and Blake are nominated for multiple CMA Awards this evening and may in fact have a run-in at the show. In fact, Blake even joked about the potential reunion just last week. However, the friendly ex's have hinted via social media that there's no lingering bad blood between them.
Hair aside, Miranda made sultry appearance on the carpet in a strappy black design, showing off her svelte physique. And while yes, the hairdo may be similar to Gwen's, Miranda still rocked it like a champ.
