Star Wars: The Force Awakens

"We could show you two hours of a monkey washing a cat and you'd still go see this movie...twice."

Have any truer words ever been spoken about Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Possibly, but we can't think of them.

The much-anticipated flick is finally hitting theaters next month, and the hype is real. So real that seemingly innocent fans have been emptying their bank accounts and their vacation days in preparation. Star Wars followers have bought theater tickets, bobble-heads, movie posters and pretty much anything you could think of to sell on E-Bay that's slightly related to a Storm Trooper. There's also a good chance that most fans already have all their gear for the necessary pre-release sidewalk campout. George Lucasand his cronies are going to get the last laugh.

And who better to remind us all of this (still awesome) ridiculousness than the creators of Honest Trailers. The team re-did the spot for the upcoming flick and added in their own thoughts about...everything. Starting with the money.

"Who are you?" the narrator asks Daisy Ridley's character as the trailer opens. "It depends who you ask, there's a lot of fan theories floating around. But you can back-order a tiny version of my droid for $150." Burn.

The trailer also poked fun at some of the less-appreciated prequels that Star Wars fans so painfully remembered—and pointed out that The Force Awakens will (hopefully) usher in a new era. "The prequels...they're gnawing at you...just let them go," says the narrator, before the logo appears with the added statement "It's on you, Abrams."

J.J. Abrams, it's officially all eyes on you.
