Today is the very first Monday without One Direction.

Sure, the band has promised to come back and reconvene in a year's time (after what they're calling a "long holiday"), but the truest followers know they shouldn't keep their hopes up. After all, people change, lives change and fans move on.

Harry Styles and his gang celebrated their final night together in the only way they know how: With a concert. There were bro hugs, conga lines and all of the feels. But for those of us who weren't able to make the monumental occasion alongside the members themselves, there are plenty of ways we can pay tribute to 1D. We're not calling this a mourning period or a celebration of their time together, because no one can really know what lies ahead.

However, the most popular boy band of our time deserves a proper sendoff from those of us who gave them all our money—if for no other reason than to thank Harry for bringing the man bun to the masses. Ahead, 18 ways you can bring a little 1D into your life until they're back together (besides from, you know, listening to all their music).

1. Watch an X-Factor marathon.

2. Initiate a friend breakup.

3. Perfect your thrusting.

4. Buy some man-boots.

5. Give yourself a daily, 1D-inspired affirmation. Bonus points if you say it into the mirror.

6. Create an altar dedicated to Simon Cowell

7. Dance like an actual crazy person.

8. Date Taylor Swift for exactly one week.

9. Never, ever cut your hair.

10. Perfect your British accent.

11. Eat fish-n'-chips for every meal.

12. Sing on a rooftop.

13. Listen to "Out of the Woods" and "Style" on repeat.

14. Invent a super kick-ass handshake.

15. Tweet anything and everything to the Directioners.

16. Gather four of your friends to dress like a gang of sailors.

17. Hire a VW van for an idyllic drive through the countryside.

18. Shade Justin Bieber right back.
