Instagram Talk about a sweet Halloween treat!
More than a month after Naya Rivera welcomed her first child with husband Ryan Dorsey, the Glee star has decided to share the first picture of their baby boy.
"Trick or treat!" the actress wrote on Instagram Saturday afternoon with her child smiling big for the cameras while dressed in a black skeleton onesie.
It's a great surprise for fans who have been waiting patiently to get a glimpse at the Dorsey's youngest family member. After all, the couple has tried to maintain a level of privacy throughout their journey to parenthood.
At the beginning of the month, Rivera revealed the special push present her man gave her in honor of their big arrival. It was a gold necklace with the letter "J." Soon after, she updated fans on how much she is enjoying life as a mom.
"Love, Love, Loving this mommy time," she gushed on social media. "It really is a full time job! Josey is so sweet and looks exactly like his daddy!"
While she tries to keep her family life private, the 28-year-old was able to share some personal details when she was expecting.
In a pregnancy blog for People, Rivera described how excited she was to begin a new chapter of her life as a mom.
"When I reached the final leg of my pregnancy, I was ecstatic. I could see the finish line and it felt so good," she wrote. "I'm so grateful that not only is our baby already surrounded with so much love, but that we are fortunate and able to provide a great life for the little one. So hats off to all of the strong, powerful women and mothers in the world, baby or no baby, you're all amazing!"
