The 29-year-old model and TV host, who is expecting her first child with husband and singer John Legend, 36, had faced some body shaming on social media after posting her first baby bump selfie earlier this month. On Wednesday night, Teigen, a foodie who has long shared photo of tasty culinary creations, posted on her Instagram page a photo of a bowl of Cap'n Crunch and Fruity Pebbles cereal.
"Cap'n Pebbles cravings, nightly," she wrote.
While many reactions were positive, some people criticized her over her food choice. Teigen reacted with much sarcasm.
"If you wanna give me unsolicited baby advice on the damn cereal I eat/what I wear, u better unlock your profile so I can see your perfection," Teigen wrote on Twitter on Thursday. "Yes I am living off dyed food. Tuna too!! Gonna try to dye my tuna actually. Then have an icy, dyed vodka soda and that's just lunch."
"Then I'm gonna f--kin take the trapeze class I've been meaning to take," she added. "Then maybe do a 3 legged race then probably rent sumo suits and battle strangers. Then a nice cigar in the hot tub oh today will be a delight indeed."
Fellow model and actress Brooklyn Decker, 28, who gave birth to her first child with husband and tennis star Andy Roddick, 33, earlier this month, later weighed in.
"WHO DO I NEED TO KILL?" she tweeted.
"I am being cereal shamed," Teigen replied.
If Teigen is looking for other delicious, sugary snacks to satisfy more pregnancy cravings, she may want to pay a visit to friend and style twin Kim Kardashian, 35.
"I got a churro machine for my bday!!!!" she tweeted. "Between that & the beignet mix I got, I am in heaven!!!!"
