Kids...they grow up so fast!

Sarah Jessica Parker's son, James Wilkie Broderick, turns 13 Wednesday and not only can she not believe it, but we can't either. The Sex and the City star shared a couple of photos on Instagram today to celebrate her son's entrance into teenagerdom, and he is basically all grown up!

SJP first shared a photo of her and husband Matthew Broderick kissing as they hold their newborn, which of course, is adorable. "A day I would happily relive. Over and over. Happy 13th birthday my favorite and beloved son," she captioned the pic. "You bring us such enormous joy and we love you so. XXX, Mama and Papa."

Don't worry. The mom-of-three isn't choosing favorites among her kids; she only has one son! But she's also the mom to two twin girls, Marion and Tabitha. But today is James' special day, so she's giving him all the kisses in the world, at least according to her second photo. In the picture SJP is holding onto her grown-up son and giving him a kiss on the cheek while he smiles from ear to ear.

"I might do this all day long. Cause I love himsez so. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JW! XXX, Mama," she captioned the follow-up pic.

The Hocus Pocus actress is famously private when it comes to her family life, so these little glimpses are a welcome surprise. Parker previously opened up to Harper's Bazaar about her family and living in New York City and gushed about the fact that she is able to have those two worlds collide.

"I love the city. I love everything it has to offer. I think that my children are so lucky to be raised here," Parker gushed to Harper's Bazaar. "I love the subway, I love hailing a cab, I love traffic and people and all of the possibilities. I believe in all of that still."

But given the fact that we're living in a social-media age, she knows that nothing is ever completely private.

"My husband and I are genuinely surprised that we feel more public now than we have ever felt. It's social media," she explained. "Of course, when you work in TV or film, there is a familiarity, so you reconcile that. But the show has been off the air a long time now. You are not ever alone. You are not ever, ever, ever, ever alone."
