Katy Perry is having quite the week.
Whether she's in Iowa rallying for Hillary Clinton or celebrating her birthday at Olive Garden, the "Roar" singer is certainly keeping busy. And nothing was different come Tuesday night when she appeared onstage at Madonna's Rebel Heart concert in Inglewood, Calif. During Material Girl's "Unapologetic Bitch" segment, Madonna brought Katy out and really let her have it.
The "Vogue" singer had Katy bend over, spanked her and then forced her to take a...banana?! No, it wasn't your average fruit. It turned out to be a fruit flask filled with Jose Cuervo Tradicional tequila that Madonna forced Katy to take a shot from. "See you Friday!" Katy quipped as she downed the shot, but not before she said, "I love you, mom!"
Madonna then joked that she could find other uses for the banana once they emptied it. As Katy walked off the stage, she bid Madge adieu.
Katy shared the moments on her Instagram page, where she said the moment wasn't planned. "Well, that was unrehearsed but ILY @madonna my QUEEN," she wrote alongside one video.
"Because all popstars are code "mom" #meta @madonna #Repost @tiersz," she captioned the next.
Much to Katy's probable delight, Madonna later dubbed her the "best unapologetic bitch ever" on Instagram, sharing an up-close look at the booty spanking. This is far from the first time Madonna has given her onstage guests a good slap, but she did get into some hot water a few weeks ago when she Instagrammed a picture of one of her backup dancers grinding up on her. But it wasn't the dancing that was certified controversial—it was the caption.
"I believe this Man is Molesting me!" the caption read. "#RebelHeartTour."
Some fans were willing to chalk it up to Madonna being Madonna, while others were a tad more critical. "@Madonna how on earth is that adorable," one follower asked.
Another added, "This is so weird and wrong."
