Caitlyn Jenner is using her experience to mentor others.

The I Am Cait star joins transgender supermodel Geena Rocero in the new digital series, Beautiful as I Want to Be, which puts the spotlight on trans youth. In the premiere episode, Caitlyn meets Zeam, a young transgender artist who is working on accepting his identity through art.

While working on his painting, Zeam asks Caitlyn for advice on how to come to terms with identity and beauty.

"I feel like everybody does it at their own pace," Caitlyn explains. "First of all these are good people. You were born a person to be who you are, and everybody's different, and that's a good thing."

Caitlyn also confesses that at the time of filming this special, she had "never met another transperson until two months ago" because she "couldn't." Talking about her children and family, Caitlyn says she had to wait until she was ready to be able to meet other people like her.

As for Zeam's personal struggles, Caitlyn advises her that the people he lets into his life will make all the difference.

"Surround yourself with positive people," she says. "Surround yourself with people that love you, that want to lift you up so you can be the best person you can possibly be."

After spending time with Caitlyn and working on his project, Zeam says that he knows everything will be different from here on out. "I really do feel transformed," he says, before giving some advice of his own.

"You're allowed to make mistakes. You're allowed to explore your gender," Zeam explains. "You're allowed to have as many phases as the moon does."
