In another addition to his ever-growing list of controversial comments, Donald Trump says women who wear burkas have it easy because they don't have to wear makeup.

The GOP presidential hopeful took to the stage at a rally in New Hampshire when he started talking about rebuilding our nation rather than spreading democracy, using an anecdote about Islamic veils to prove his point that people in the Middle East don't want freedom.

"It's like I saw somebody, and I won't even say because it's embarrassing: 'We want it where the women over there don't have to wear the you-know-what,'" he recalled, referencing burkas. "I saw a woman interviewed. They said, 'We want to wear [burkas], we've worn them for a thousand years. Why would anybody tell us not to?' They want to! What the hell are we getting involved for?"

He continued, "Fact is, it's easy. You don't have to put on makeup, look how beautiful everyone looks. Wouldn't it be easier? Right? Wouldn't that be easy?" he asked the audience, adding that he would wear one himself if he were a woman, waving his hang across his to mimic putting one on. "I'm ready, darling, let's go!"

As is usual for him, Trump's comments were met with outrage.

Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar criticized him on The View Tuesday with Goldberg noting, "It's not a vanity thing."

"But it's about women's looks again," Behar added. "We don't need to constantly hear about our looks."

And they weren't alone. Many people also took to Twitter to slam the candidate:
