The Grinder lives to grind another day.

Fox picked up its new comedy series for a full season, the network announced on Tuesday, making it the sixth new series to earn a pick-up. Starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage, the series follows two brothers—one lawyer and one who just played one on TV—as they work together and repair their strained relationship, while hijinks naturally ensue. The latest episode earned 2.9 million viewers and scored a 0.93 demo rating.

"The Grinder is the perfect combination of razor-sharp wit and relatable family dynamics—two hallmarks of successful comedies," Fox Entertainment President David Madden said in a statement. "The critics have embraced this original, fresh and funny show, and the talented cast—led by Rob Lowe and Fred Savage—have done such an incredible job infusing it with biting humor and heartfelt moments.  We are so excited about the storylines that these fantastic producers have planned for the rest of the season."
