Matt Lauer and his 14-year-old son Jack spent some quality time together Thursday night at the New York Rangers hockey game.

The look-alike pair cheered the Rangers on to victory against the Arizona Coyotes 4-1. Matt, 57, and his mini-me wore casual cardigans, and based on those grins, they both had a great time at the game, too.

Jack is the oldest of the Today anchor's three children; Matt and wife Annette Roque's daughter Romy is 12 and son Thijs is 8. All of the Lauer kids know their father works hard, but in their eyes, he's not exactly a celebrity—he's just dad!

As Matt explained in a Facebook chat for Today earlier this year, he's "not famous at home. I'm just Papa."

That makes sense. Of course, you do get some perks when your papa co-anchors Today. "I'm lucky because I actually get to interview most of the people my kids become obsessed with," said Matt. "I was a very popular dad when Ariana Grande was on the show last summer."

Getting to be a cool dad isn't the best part of parenthood, though. Matt's favorite thing about being a father, he revealed earlier this year, is "the hugs at bedtime."

(E! and NBC are both members of the NBCUniversal family.)
