Fast-forward nearly two decades later, and the Hanson bandmate is celebrating his 30th birthday today, meaning one of the greatest decades for pop music is sadly another year further from us.
And though Zac's big 3-0 might come as a shock to his fans, the trio has continued to make new music (10 studio albums total!) and is traveling across the United States on their Roots and Rock 'N' Roll tour.
Hanson, who remains the second youngest person ever to be nominated for a Grammy, still rocks his long locks while brothers Isaac, 34, and Taylor, 32, have chopped their iconic 'dos.
The youngest bro took to Twitter to thank his fans for all the birthday well wishes. "Feeling a lot of love as I sit down for sound check on my birthday. -Z," he wrote.
