It's no surprise Heath Ledger had quite the way with the ladies, but this particular interaction is adorable and hilarious!

A video of the late Oscar-winning Australian Dark Knight and 10 Things I Hate About You actor at the 2006 Australian Film Institute Awards went viral on Throwback Thursday, more than seven years after he died at age 28.

The clip shows Australian comedy actress Magda Szubanski, dressed as a crew member and in character as Sharon Strzelecki, her role in the popular Australian sitcom Kath and Kim, appearing to freak out (like, freak out, freak out) while watching Ledger give an interview to a 9News Australia reporter at the event.

His reaction? The reaction every Heath Ledger fan fantasizes about...and Szubanski is literally swept off her feet.

Watch the video below.

After getting cozy on the red carpet, she and Ledger later reunited onstage at the award show, when she presented him with the Reader's Choice Award for his role in Brokeback Mountain. He also took home the prize for Best International Actor.

"I'm a little bit over-excited tonight, because when I was on the red carpet, I met Heath Ledger and now I have a little bit of a case of Heath Rash," Szubanski told co-presenter and singer/actress Danni Minogue. "And you know, it's really funny, actually, Danni, 'cause I always thought he was gay."

Szubanski came out publicly as gay in 2012.

"I'm sorry about his," Ledger later told her onstage, pointing to her fake facial rash. "I had the same thing happen to me when I made out with Jake [Gyllenhaal]."
