Whitney Port's wedding is just around the corner and E! News caught up with the bride-to-be to discuss the details surrounding her big day!

The Whitney Eve designer and fiancé, Tim Rosenman will have an intimate ceremony, Port tells us, and the couple will "definitely be writing our own vows. We have some family that's a part of it. It's going to be really personal."

As far as the overall theme the soon-to-be Mrs. Rosenman said it will be a "modern take on a traditional [wedding]. The whole vibe of it is just going to be one big, fun party!"

The 30-year-old has also been designing her own wedding dress, and she's the first to admit that she's surprised by what the final design has become.

"When I first pictured myself as a bride, really simple, silk, something strapless or spaghetti straps, kind of like a slip dress. As the planning process went on, I decided, 'You know I think I want to do something a little more elaborate, a little more special.' So, the dress has a lot of detail to it, it's pretty full on."

As time nears closer to the big day, Port is staying fit with cycling and by snacking on Goodnessknows snacks. The City alum hasn't switched up her beauty routine a ton, though, but has been paying a few visits to one of her favorite dermatologists.

"There's a place in LA, a doctor named Dr. Diaz, I go to for these awesome hydra facials that really moisturize and nourish my skin," the designer dished.

Port's not alone in the planning process...it's definitely a family affair!

"It's been crazy, my youngest sister got engaged over summer, and is getting married at the beginning of the year next year, and my other sister who works with me got engaged three weeks ago, so it has been really crazy. My older sister Ashley, is an event planner, a wedding planner, so she's planning all three. There have been moments where I have told my sister, 'You need to back off, because mine is this much away, and I need her full attention,'" Port laughed recalling the conversation. "It's just fun that it's such a great time for our family."

LOVE all of my BRIDES but especially these THREE!! #sisters #engagementx3 #workneverstops #????? ?

All wedding planning details aside, Port's excited to tie the knot and knew her husband-to-be was 'the one' the day she met the former The City associate producer.

"I know this sounds super cheesy, but I feel like the night that I met him as soon as I met him I just knew  I loved him. I know it sounds crazy, but I feel like you can just meet someone, and feel their energy and get to know their personality that fast. I have really strong gut reactions, so I just knew right away. He makes me laugh so much that for me if I'm laughing this much for the rest of my life, I'm a happy girl!"
