Did Back to the Future Part II predict that the goddess who goes by the name Adele would drop an album announcement today and bring peace to the world, if only for a mere moment? If so, bravo Back to the Future writers!

It has been rumored for months now that Adele is blessing us with new music this year, and finally, on Wednesday, she officially announced that her upcoming album will be called 25.

"Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk," she wrote on her Facebook page. "The ability to be flippant about everything and there be no consequences. Even following and breaking rules...is better than making the rules. 25 is about getting to know who I've become without realizing. And I'm so sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."

If you had a very visceral reaction to the news that Adele is finally giving us a new record, you are not alone. More than likely you are going through a cornucopia of emotions at the moment—these 13 emotions, to be exact:

1. Disbelief

You see it trending on Twitter. You see some people Facebook-ing about it. But you don't believe it. You can't take another rumor at this point. You need cold, hard facts.

2. Trepidation

OK, so now you're seeing actual websites reporting the news. But you've been burned before and you aren't sure if you are ready to believe it yet.

3. Shock and awe

Wait, it's really happening?! She announced it herself?! There's a title and everything?!

4. Stunned silence

...

5. Pure, unadulterated joy

OMG.

6. Pure, unadulterated joy times infinity

O.M.G.

7. Panic

When does it come out? Is there a single? What about the song that was on The X Factor over the weekend?! WE NEED ANSWERS.

8. Pain

It hurts! The joy and confusion and resplendent pleasure hurt so good!

9. Need for solitude

All you want to do is lock yourself away today and listen to every single Adele song that's ever escaped her lips. On repeat. For 24 hours.

10. Impatience

So….when is this album coming out again?

11. Angry impatience

What do you mean we don't when this album is coming out?! Someone tell us when we can buy Adele's new record or we will start knocking skulls together.

12. Bitter acceptance

Fine, we probably have to wait another month at the very least before that CD is in our car, blasting and vibrating windows.

13. More joy

The most important thing to remember is that we are really, truly, honestly getting a new Adele album in 2015. That's what we should be focusing on for today. We can go back to panic and impatience tomorrow.

Where are you on the Adele New Album Emotion Spectrum? We're on "Pain" at the moment because it's all. Too. Much. To. Take.
