Watch: Can Julianne Hough Rock on "Grease: Live"?

Oh, Sandys!

Dancing With the Stars became quiet the treat for fans of Grease on Monday night, when Olivia Newton-John appeared as a guest judge...sitting right next to Julianne Hough, who will be taking on the iconic role of Sandy in Fox's upcoming live adaptation of the hit musical. And it sounds like the two Sandys got along quite well, with Newton-John saying Hough was the "perfect" choice for the role.

"I think she's perfect. She's a beautiful girl and she's incredibly talented," Newton-John gushed to E! News after Monday night's episode of DWTS. "And I think she'll pull off Sandy 1 and Sandy 2, as I call them, very well. She'll be great!"

But will the movie Sandy be making an appearance during the live event come Jan. 31?!

Paramount Pictures

"I don't think so. They don't need me, they got the new one now!" she said. "It's fine. I'll stay in the screen from the old days."

After landing the coveted role (and iconic leather pants!) of Sandy, Hough said, "Grease is one of the movies that made me want to be an entertainer, and I have literally been waiting my whole life to play Sandy. My siblings and I watched it and played it out over and over when we were kids. This is my dream role and performing it live on television will be one of the most thrilling opportunities I've had in my career so far."

Joining Julianne in the live event are Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Aaron Tveit as Danny, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchie, Keke Palmer as Marty, David Del Rio as Putzie and Kether Donohue as Jan. Oh, and DWTS competitor Carlos PenaVega will be taking on the role of Kenickie!

DWTS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC, and Grease Live! will air on Jan. 31 on Fox.
