It's a slam dunk off the court for Glory Johnson!

The 25-year-old WNBA forward welcomed new twin girls Ava Simone and Solei Diem after just 24 weeks on Monday. The babies weighed in at one pound and seven ounces each. Despite the premature timing, Johnson assured her fans that all will be well when God is involved.

"Babies Ava Simone & Solei Diem arrived on Monday!" Johnson captioned a collage of photos of their hands, feet, and measurements.  "Born a little earlier than expected, I have No Worries because these babies are fighters just like I am! We all know God makes NO mistakes and by his Grace, everything will work out for the greater good. We will continue to trust God as they are in his hands. Continue to keep us Lifted because there is Sooo Much Power In PRAYER!!!"

A day later, the Tulsa Shock player also shared a photo of herself laying in a hospital bed asleep. It is unclear if Johnson is still in the hospital or if the photo was snapped a week ago.

"I have So Much LEARNING to do before you BOTH get here," she wrote with the photo. "But, I promise to prepare myself Everyday to Properly Welcome You Home!"

In addition to a premature birth, Johnson's pregnancy has been rather trying since the day she announced she was expecting with then-wife Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner. In a major turn of events, Griner revealed she had filed for an annulment just a month after the couple had wed. The ladies announced their split a mere 24 hours after revealing they had a bun in the oven. The annulment was later rejected and the couple announced they would move forward toward a divorce.

Even before they exchanged rings, Griner and Johnson's relationship appeared to be on the rocks when they were both arrested after getting in a domestic dispute, resulting in a suspension by the WNBA for seven regular season games.

"Glory loves Brittney and made a huge sacrifice to carry a child, put her career on hold, to invest in their relationship and their future," Johnson's rep said. "Glory wouldn't intentionally do anything to hurt Brittney and has tried her best to protect her and their marriage."

While 25-year-old Griner has not yet commented on the birth of the twins, Johnson appears to be fighting just as fiercely off the court as she would mid-game on behalf of her brand new babies.

Congratulations to the first-time mom! We extend our well wishes to the new family as the twins continue to grow.
