After news broke of NBA basketball champion Lamar Odom being rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious Tuesday, support flowed from every angle for the former Los Angeles Lakers player.

Celebrity friends and fellow basketball players publicized their well wishes for their beloved friend and colleague on social media, predominantly via Twitter, as news continued to update of his critical condition. Odom was rushed to Desert View Hospital and later transported to Sunrise Hospital in Nevada after being found unconscious Tuesday morning in his room at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South following days of partying.

Dwyane Wade, Odom's former teammate while playing for the Miami Heat, was one of the many contributing to the stream of support for the 6-foot-10 basketball star, calling him his "brother."  His wife, actress Gabrielle Union, echoed the sentiment with a retweet on her own account.

Wade followed his initial tweet with a follow-up wish, turning to prayer for divine help for his dear friend. "I can't help but to be up right now...THINKING about my ex teammate/friend LO...On my knees praying...please God let him pull thru.." he wrote.

Additional high-profile figures like Fantastic Four actor Miles Teller, Modern Family star Ariel Winter, and the Miami Heat followed suit, expressing their initial reactions to the saddening news and offering well wishes.

Breaking Bad's RJ Mitte sent encouraging words to Odom's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, telling her his prayers are with her during this difficult time. Los Angeles Lakers player Mark Madsen gave a shout of support on behalf of the entire team, saying that "everyone on the team plane thinking, praying and pulling for [Odom's] well being."

E! News has learned that Odom has not yet regained consciousness and the prognosis does not look good for Odom. A source told E! News late Tuesday evening that Odom is breathing only with machine assistance.

While the 35-year-old athlete is fighting for his life, people from all over the country are fighting with him:
