Rita Ora Wants to Remake ''Lady Marmalade'' With Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX and Twitter Pretty Much Hates the Idea

Helpful internet both blasts the idea of yet another remake and offers some suggestions for a better one—Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, anyone?

Well, you can't win 'em all.

Rita Ora, presumably thinking she was making an innocent suggestion, reportedly told The Sun that she's interested in rounding up some fellow pop star hotties for a remake of Labelle's 1975 soul classic "Lady Marmalade."

Or make that another remake, because of course another version featuring Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mýa was a monster hit off the Moulin Rouge soundtrack back in 2001.

But there was no Twitter in 2001, was it?

"I'm trying to round up the troops," Ora told The Sun, per Billboard.com. "I think it would be me, Miley, Charli XCX—she'd be fun—and Iggy."

Alas, the Internet doesn't sound too excited for "Lady Marmalade" featuring Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX and Iggy Azalea.

In fact, it sounds as though people would rather stick actual marmalade into their ears. But as always, if someone has to do it, the Twitterverse was very willing to offer up multiple suggestions for an ideal lineup.

Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Tinashe, anyone...? Ariana Grande and Rihanna have been nominated, too... Oh, and Lady Gaga, of course...
