It's no surprise to see some of your favorite celebrities wandering the halls of Comic-Con, but it may come as a surprise to hear that Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo were both in attendance at New York's Comic-Con over the weekend…
Why? Well, mostly because no one even knew they were there!
The DC villain and the Marvel superhero both enjoyed the festivities wearing hideous masks, walking the halls and taking photographs—unbeknownst to the crowds around them—in total anonymity.
And just to throw salt on the wounds for those who may have passed them unsuspectingly at the event, both actors documented their activities on social media, even sharing selfies with oblivious fans.

He even managed to snap a pic with someone dressed up as the joker—his major upcoming role. He noted, again, "He had no idea. :) #NYCC2015."
Meanwhile, Ruffalo also shared a few selfies of his funny (yet kind of disturbing) old man mask. In one photo, he poses solo and writes, "Got to hide out and enjoy #comiccon2015."
A second pic shows him and his son with the unknowing crowds filing around them. He captioned the pic, "Had a great time at #comiccon2015 NYC! Thanks ComicCon for the Hospitality."
If you were at Comic-Con this weekend and happen to remember passing the two crazies in a mask, try not to get down on yourself. Rather, take it as a life lesson learned: always assume the man in the mask is a major movie star. Always.
