Vin Diesel is proud of the way he looks.

Last week, the actor was photographed looking softer and rounder after he walked out to the balcony of his room at Miami's Shore Club hotel and took off his shirt. In the midst of promoting his new movie The Last Witch Hunter, the 48-year-old action star took a moment to respond to those who have called him out for not appearing as in shape as he once was.

"It is amazing the response from the journalists who I have been talking to for the last two days in New York. Today one wanted to see the dad bod. Haha," he wrote in an Instagram caption over the weekend. "I am wondering if I should show the picture... Body-shaming is always wrong! What do you think?"

In the second Instagram photo, he lifted his shirt to reveal his rock-hard abs. "The pic from yesterday... For those who wanted the show... For all the angels that love dad bod regardless..." Diesel wrote in the caption. "I will post an exclusive video on my Facebook when I am done with press today."

The actor has yet to share the video with fans.

Meanwhile, Diesel has kept busy promoting his new movie. "This weekends Comic Con panel for The Last Witch Hunter was simply amazing!" he wrote on Facebook. "Thanks for the love..."

Last week, Diesel also opened up to E! News about what fans can expect to see in Universal Pictures' Fast and Furious 8, slated for release on Apr. 14, 2017. "You can expect the setting to change in an interesting way. Something that nobody knows is that when we first did the first Fast and the Furious...they optioned an article from Vibe magazine. The streetcar racing of the article existed in New York City...and not L.A. It was the studio that and the production as a whole that moved the story to L.A. So, now, in the eighth one, we're returning to the very, very, very original scene...The eighth one will be in New York City," he said. "It's pretty cool."
