The U.S. Women National Team pummeled Japan to win the World Cup over the summer, the Major League Soccer playoffs are right around the corner, and the U.S. Men's National Team have their biggest match in years today.
The U.S. face a must-win against Mexico in the CONCACAF Cup at a sold-out Rose Bowl for a spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia, a prelude to the 2018 World Cup in the same country. USA would have earned a spot in the Confederations Cup if it weren't for a poor showing at the Gold Cup this summer, which caused many soccer fans to call for coach Jurgen Klinsmann's head job.
The MLS playoffs, meanwhile, start on Oct. 28, and it is down to the wire on who will get the last remaining playoff spots.
