Tell us how you really feel, Michael Fassbender

As the forthcoming Aaron Sorkin-penned film Steve Jobs continues to receive rave reviews, it seems that many have forgotten about the 2013 biopic Jobs, which starred Ashton Kutcher as the late Apple co-founder and was not well-received by critics.

Fassbender, however, couldn't help but hilariously gloat over how much better his movie seems while promoting the Danny Boyle-directed flick at the New York Film Festival on Sunday.

Asked how he prepared for the role, the 38-year-old Academy Award-nominated actor quipped, "I studied Ashton Kutcher."

Touché, Fassy, touché.

Kutcher-shade aside, the film is already receiving Oscar buzz, and the 12 Years a Slave star could not be more thrilled.

"It makes me feel good," he told E! News with a big smile while promoting the biopic last month.

Speaking of the script, which, in typical Aaron Sorkin-style features a lot of dialogue, he added, "It honestly takes me longer than the average person would [to memorize lines]. I just read it over and over again and kind of go crazy and keep reading it and go a little more crazy and just keep reading it."

In theaters Oct. 9, Jobs also stars Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, one of the original members of the Macintosh team, Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan (the mother of Jobs' first daughter).
