Watch: Can You Catch "The Good Wife" Stars in a Lie?

The Good Wife is brand new in more ways than one when it makes its seventh season debut on Sunday, Oct. 4: Alicia Florrick's got a new job (she's self-employed), new relationships (friends and more maybe?) and there's a whole crop of new characters coming in to shake things up. Remember that feeling you had in season five when everything you knew and loved was turned on its head? It's happening…again.

"Alicia's starting from scratch again and she's always best when she's at the bottom of the barrel," Julianna Margulies told E! News with a laugh on the New York set of the hit CBS drama.

Along for Alicia's ride back up to the top is Lucca Quinn, a bond court attorney Alicia meets in the first episode played by British actress Cush Jumbo, known for her theater credits and roles on Vera, Torchwood and the British version of Getting On, and Grey's Anatomy and Magic City veteran Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jason Crouse, Alicia's new investigator. Makenzie Vega's Grace, Alicia's daughter, rounds out the new dream team at the center of it all. To say they're excited about the brand-new adventure for one of TV's best characters is an understatement.

"What I know about the show, it's a very smart show that kind of reinvents itself every year and I think this is going to continue along those traditions and I think we're really going to see Alicia get back to her roots and hopefully along the way there will be some sizzle to that," Morgan told us. "But I think the additions of Cush and Margo [Martindale]—I just think it's going to be a really good year. I'm looking forward to it. "

What else can you expect besides some sizzle? That depends on how good you are at detecting lies. Margulies, Jumbo and Morgan gave us two truths and a lie about the new season—or is it three truths and no lies? Three lies and no truths? That's up to you to decide. Is somebody pregnant? New secret affairs? Click play on the video above to get the scoop and be sure to check back with E! News for much more on the new season of The Good Wife.

The Good Wife airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on CBS.
