Shannon and David Beador are opening up about their highly publicized affair.
The Real Housewives of Orange County stars sat down for an exclusive interview with Andy Cohen for a Watch What Happens Live special, airing Oct. 5, and the reality star didn't hold back when it came to dishing the details on dealing with her husband's mistress.
"I have actually spoken to her because she called me once," Shannon told Andy in a preview of the interview airing on Monday on Bravo. "But I've never sought her out."
Holding back the tears, she continued to tell him, "In that conversation I wanted to say certain things but I didn't. I said, 'I want my family back.' Her response was, 'He's obsessed with me! He wants to marry me! I don't even know the guy,' and it was not, it wasn't a kind conversation."
Both Shannon and David explained that the situation was much more painful than people even realize, saying, "I don't think people understand the level of hurt," and the blond star even chose to give a very specific example that proves to still be a touchy memory to this day.
"One day he handed [our daughter] Stella his wedding ring and said, 'Give this to your mother, I don't want it anymore,' and that was a knife in my heart," she said.
"I thought we're never going to get back together and I had to do some of the interview commentary for the show and I wore his wedding ring because there wasn't any way I was going to give up."
