Whether you're actually gay, grew up watching The L Word, have a million gay BFFs or none of the above, this test of popular gay terms will probably stump you…but what better way to spend your Thursday morning than getting educated on the subject?!

Bustle created a video that invites straight men and women to guess the meaning of common gay slang and deliver six minutes of pure entertainment (and knowledge!) for viewers.

The video provides the "contestants" (if you will) with a term, and after a good period of watching them fail miserably at guessing the meaning, the answer is revealed. You'll come to find out that most of the phrases actually make total sense once you learn the background of them

For example, the game kicks off with the expression, "Fruit fly."ft;">One girl thought that maybe it was slang for "someone who hovers constantly around you," while another described it as "a gnat on your genitals." The true meaning? "A straight woman who hangs out almost exclusively with gay men," the video explains. Makes total sense now, right?!ft;">Another fun one that comes later in the video is "platinum gay." Some of the contestants were super close, thinking this was a phrase used for "the luxury model" of a gay person "like the Bugatti." It actually references a "gay man who was born by C-section and has never touched a vagina."

Good stuff, right?

So if you don't know what expressions like otter, U-Haul, pillow princess, gal pal and size queen really mean, we suggest taking a look at the video above and saving yourself from any embarrassment when you may come across them in the future.

If you think you already know anything and everything there is to know about gay terminology, please watch and laugh along as these people hilariously attempt to figure them out.
